Great question! A contractor focuses on construction. A designer focuses on aesthetics.
As your renovation coach, I combine both perspectives — layout, product selection, design, and process — with your budget and best interest in mind. I don’t sell install services, and I’m not trying to upsell you. I’m 100% here to help you make the right decisions.❓Do you do the remodeling work yourself?
No — I’m not a general contractor or installer. I coach you through planning, sourcing, and decision-making, and I can help you vet and communicate with contractors, but I don’t do any physical labor or construction myself.❓Can you help me choose cabinets or products?
Absolutely. I’ve worked with top cabinet brands for over a decade. I can recommend cabinets, countertops, hardware, and more — based on your space, style, and budget.
In many cases, I can even source cabinets at a discount through my supplier network.❓Do I have to buy products through you?
No. You’re free to use any vendors or retailers you like. That said, if you choose to order cabinets through my recommended suppliers, I may earn a small commission — but only if it’s a win-win for you.❓What tools do you use for design?
I use 2020 Design Live, the industry standard for kitchen layouts and 3D renderings. You’ll get professional-quality visuals and scaled plans, just like you'd get from a high-end showroom — without the pressure or markup.❓How does a virtual consultation work?
We’ll connect via Zoom or Google Meet. I’ll review your measurements, inspiration, budget, and goals. Then I’ll offer layout ideas, material suggestions, and step-by-step guidance based on your needs.
You’ll also get a follow-up summary, resources, and any drawings/renderings included in your package.❓What if I’ve already started my kitchen remodel?
No problem! I can jump in at any stage — whether you're just brainstorming or already midway through a remodel. I can help review your plans, find missing pieces, or troubleshoot problems.❓Can you help me understand contractor bids and quotes?
Yes! Many homeowners get confused by contractor estimates. I’ll help you understand the line items, spot missing info, and make sure you're comparing apples to apples — before you sign anything.❓Can you design my kitchen without seeing the space in person?
Yes — my service is designed to be 100% remote. With accurate measurements and a few photos, I can create a complete layout and provide detailed design recommendations.❓What if I’m not ready to remodel right away?
That’s perfectly fine! Coaching is also great for long-term planners. You can use this time to get your design and budget lined up so that when you are ready, you’re not overwhelmed or rushed.❓What if I just want help with the layout or cabinet design?
I offer à la carte services too — including layout-only or cabinet design packages. You don’t have to sign up for full coaching to get high-quality design support.❓Do you offer payment plans?
Yes — for any package over $399, I offer 2-part payment plans upon request. Just mention it when we book your session.❓Where are you located? Do you work nationally?
